Okay, I give....quit emailing me. October 30th, 2008 . Weddings

and here I thought it was obvious. Plus, you were supposed to comment, not email. hahaha I've had several comments (once they found out the answer) that Kent is nicer looking, though. (No offense to Mr. Larroquette!) Thanks to all who guessed....although you didn't guess right, it was fun!

Time to play catch up! October 29th, 2008 . Weddings

I've gotten a bit behind in my blogging....which is a real shame because we've been taking some pictures of wonderful folks here lately. I'm trying to make time each day to pop in here and play catch up. First up...Jill and Kent. They were married in a small, intimate ceremony in the Presbyterian Church on Main Street. Her flowers were wonderful, I need to find out the nice lady's name who did them. Jill was gorgeous and her dress really suited her. Does Kent remind you of anyone famous? This is not my favorite picture of him, but it's the one where you might recognize who I'm talking about....log your guesses in the comment section. There might be a small prize for the first one who guesses right! ;) I love this shot of them on the bench! The girls looked so sharp...love the dresses and their hair was total glamour. See?!? And I just COULDN'T leave out this little cutie! If you want to see more, just click on the image below of Jill with all her 'Soul Sisters' for the slideshow!

One proud mama... October 27th, 2008 . Weddings

Our son sang in church Sunday. It was his first time singing in public at all. He was terrified, but he did it anyway....that's why I'm so proud. Everyone really enjoyed it, even gave him a standing ovation. Thanks to all who were there and showed your support. The song, chosen by him, was one of his favorites from Veggie Tales. Folks, if you have little ones (even if you don't ;) ) and aren't familiar with Bob and Larry, you owe it to yourself to check them out. It's one of those shows that manages to be funny to kids and adults alike (I'm really convinced the creators are Monty Python fans....)

Singing in Church for the First Time from ginger moseley on Vimeo. Les, our music minister, wrote this very kind note in the church bulletin. "Our offertory, God is Bigger, today sung by seven- year old Riley, is a Christian response to the secular holiday of Halloween, which comes this Friday. In his preparation for singing for you today about the monsters in the closet, Riley has had to confront his own demons of fear and self-doubt. What you hear today is Riley's own testimony and a powerful message of hope and faith in a loving God who brings us through fearful times. "
