Wow, it's been a busy wedding season so far! Last weekend, I had the honor to photograph Emily and Griffin Garner's big day. The weather was stunning, but it couldn't hold a candle to Emily. Everyone had such a good time. It was truly a blue wedding...the sky, the flowers, the dresses.....ah one of my favorite colors. See for yourself. The following images are just a few to hold you over until next week when I will have the album design done. For now.......

I know I've been a little harder to get a hold of this week, but I was a teacher at our church's Vacation Bible School Sunday thru Thursday. We had the most children we've ever had and I think they all had a great time. I'm sorry if you've tried to reach me and couldn't, but I'm not sorry I was involved in this. Seeing all their little faces light up and recieving all the hugs I did this week, well that just made it all worth it!! I'll be shooting today and tomorrow, but will be back at it on Monday morning. So thanks for your patience and I'm looking forward to talking to everyone soon.

If you'd like to see the kids in VBS action, just click here! It was a little hard being a teacher and taking pictures, but I still managed to get some cute ones. Don't worry, it's not a long show. Enjoy!!

I know it's been a while since I blogged, but we've been very busy here at the studio. The following wedding album slideshow has taken me quite a while to create. The story of Kelly and Richard's wedding had such an interesting cast of characters and gorgeous surroundings that you would think it would all overshadow the love these two have for each other.....nothing would be farther from the truth. Their love shone through all the happenings of the day -- and there was a lot going on. :o) Pulling together images of so many different people and things was a challenge. But I found that if I kept Kelly and Richard's obvious affection for each other in mind as I laid the images out, the story could unfold for the viewer. See for yourself, click here to see the album preview slideshow.

I just received the sweetest emails a photographer could receive from Richard and Kelly. I really hope they don't mind me sharing them here. Their response to their pictures makes all the hard work worth it! To both of them, it was my pleasure.

In life you have those moments that touch your heart and soul in a manner that it brings you to tears. Viewing the our wedding album was one of those moments. The music was nothing but perfect. The pictures look awesome.
I'm truly speechless.
Thank you.
Richard

Ginger:
This is Kelly. What can I say. . . I have watched this about 10 times and have cried each time. I LOVE IT. You did a magnificent job. You nailed it. I love it so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
