One of my clients, little Brooke-Lynn Tubiolo, has been hospitalized this week. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. Brooke-Lynn's mom recently brought her and her older brother in for pictures. I was instantly overwhelmed by the wish to take care of this 16 month old and I'm
smitten with her older brother, Christian. Brooke-Lynn has been plagued by a seizure disorder since birth and doctors, so far, have been unable to give an exact diagnosis. She had seen considerable improvement since being placed on a ketogenic diet, limiting her intake of sugars. I was even treated to a small smile or two during the session. I can't even begin to imagine what her parents must be going through. I can't stand it when mine fall and scrape themselves up -- much less having to watch as they are put through medical test after medical test without being able to explain what is happening.

If you are a praying person, please remember Brooke-Lynn and her family. If not, please send any positive thoughts you can spare their way.
If you feel so moved and would like to help with the overwhelming medical bills that have built up as a result of her condition, a fund has been set up at the Bank of America here in Highlands, NC. You can go by any Bank of America location and give Brooke-Lynn's name and town (Highlands, NC) and the tellers will be able to look up her account and accept a deposit there. Many thanks to you all, for taking the time to read about this special little girl.
Now, I'm gonna go hug my kids.
Blessings!
